Follow the A487 coast road to Synod Inn, then take the B4321 towards Llangrannog. Cwmtydu is signposted from the village.

The nearest stations are Aberystwyth (25 miles) and Carmarthen (30 miles). Taxi or bus connections available.
Transport can be arranged
The T5 Traws Cymru bus runs along the coast. Alight at New Quay or Synod Inn and arrange local transport.
Scenic coastal route
Cardiff Airport is approximately 90 minutes drive. Birmingham and Bristol airports are around 3 hours away.
Car hire recommended
Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you need flexibility with these times, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Yes, families are very welcome at Tŷ Cwch. The beach is great for paddling and rock pooling, though please note that children should be supervised near the water. We can provide travel cots and highchairs on request.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please let us know when booking so we can ensure everything is ready for your four-legged friend. A small additional cleaning fee may apply.
We provide bed linen and towels. You should bring your own food and toiletries. We recommend bringing walking boots, waterproofs, and swimwear to make the most of the coastal activities.
Mobile signal can be limited in Cwmtydu due to the secluded location - which many guests see as part of the charm! We have WiFi available at the boathouse for staying connected when needed.
